Paralegal Kara Winters brings a wealth of experience to the table, having spent 20 years working in local government. Her diverse background includes collaborating with special districts, cities, counties, and state agencies. As a paralegal, she assists our special districts and municipal clients in policy creation, budget, audit, elections, and statutory compliance.

Kara obtained her bachelor’s degree in business management from Colorado State University Global-Campus. In 2010, Kara earned her Certified Municipal Clerks (CMC) designation from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. This certification recognizes her commitment to excellence in local governance and administrative practices.

As a fifth-generation Coloradoan, Kara has deep ties to the Centennial State. The rugged mountains, clear blue skies, and crisp air are part of her DNA. Kara is a proud mother of two adult sons and two adorable
doodles. Kara enjoys travel, Pilates, and exploring the great outdoors with her doodles.
