Paralegal Kara Winters brings a wealth of experience to the table, having spent 20 years working in local government. Her diverse background includes collaborating with special districts, cities, counties and state agencies. As a paralegal, she assists our special districts and municipal clients with policy creation, budgeting, audits, elections, and statutory compliance.

Kara earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Colorado State University Global Campus. In 2010, she earned her Certified Municipal Clerk designation from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.

As a fifth-generation Coloradoan, Kara has deep ties to the Centennial State. The rugged mountains, clear blue skies, and crisp air are part of her DNA. Kara is a proud mother of two adult sons and two adorable doodles. Kara enjoys travel, Pilates and exploring the great outdoors with her dogs.
